Claudeforce is an expanded strategic partnership between Salesforce and Anthropic, announced on August 26, 2026. Salesforce describes it as bringing Claude’s intelligence and reasoning together with Salesforce’s trusted enterprise harness, so that its data, workflows, business logic, actions and governance are securely accessible to agents wherever work happens1. It launches with Salesforce in Claude, a plugin carrying 37 prebuilt sales skills.
What did Salesforce announce?
Salesforce announced Claudeforce on August 26, 2026 as a partnership with four parts rather than a single product1. Everything below is stated in that announcement.
- Salesforce inside Claude. A plugin with 37 prebuilt sales skills — including meeting prep, deal health review and pipeline review — that lets sellers reason over live revenue context and take governed action from within Claude. Salesforce says actions are routed through Salesforce so business rules are enforced, and that an admin connects it once, with authentication and permissions managed centrally.
- Claude inside Salesforce. Claude is available in Agentforce, serving as a reasoning model for the Atlas Reasoning Engine, powering Agentforce Vibes and Agentforce Coworker by default, and available in Agent Builder. Through Amazon Bedrock, Salesforce says Claude is available within the Salesforce Trust Boundary.
- Claude inside Slack. Salesforce states that Claude is the default model for Slack, powering Slackbot, Claude Tag, and Slack Code.
- Mutual adoption. Salesforce and Anthropic describe themselves as strategic customers of one another.
Salesforce attributes the underlying connection to AIforce, which it describes as an enterprise harness bringing business data and workflows to any agent through MCP servers, APIs and CLI tools1.
When is Claudeforce available?
Salesforce stated, as of its August 26, 2026 announcement, that Salesforce in Claude was available to select pilot customers and that it expected to launch in open beta in September 2026. It also said that pricing and packaging are subject to change and that availability may vary by region1. This is the launch timing and release date as Salesforce stated it. We do not publish dates of our own beyond what Salesforce has said.
Claudeforce status and pricing
Status. Salesforce’s Claudeforce page says Salesforce in Claude is “available today for pilot customers and is planned for open beta in September 2026” (page checked October 7, 2026)3. We could not find a Salesforce statement that the open beta has started. Ask your Salesforce account executive for current status, or see Salesforce’s Claudeforce page.
Pricing. Salesforce said that pricing and packaging are subject to change1. Salesforce’s Claudeforce page does not list prices, and we found no Salesforce statement of a consumption model. For a quote, ask your Salesforce account team. We do not sell Salesforce in Claude and cannot quote it.
What to do while this settles. The work you can do today does not depend on a release date. Get the data in your org right, write down your know-how, and decide what an agent is allowed to do. If you would rather see it on your own work, get a demo built on your workflow.
How does Claudeforce relate to Agentforce?
They are not competing options. Agentforce is Salesforce’s platform for building and customizing AI agents2, and one part of the Claudeforce partnership makes Claude available inside Agentforce as a reasoning model1.
What does this mean for an org running Salesforce?
An agent in your CRM is only as good as the org you give it: data it can trust, know-how that’s actually written down, an integration fabric that reaches beyond the CRM, clear rules for what it’s allowed to do, and a team with defined work ready to hand it.
Most of how a company actually runs — pricing rules, playbooks, the reasons behind decisions — lives in heads, Slack threads, and tribal memory. An agent inherits everything you’ve written down, and nothing you haven’t.
That work is the same whichever agent path an organization takes, and none of it depends on a release date.
We’ve been running something like Claudeforce since Feb 2026.
If you want to know where your own org stands across those five dimensions, start with the readiness score.
If and when Claudeforce is right for you, the readiness work above applies. If you want to see it on your own work, get a demo built on your workflow.
